Meet the Xtruder, a pure Canadian take on the popular Mechanical Squonker mod. Not only are we proud it’s all Canadian, but it has some pretty serious innovation too.
Mark Nicholson of Definitive Coils has not only branched out into juice making, he now has a sexy little mech squonker to add to his product offerings. This is a popular mod segment that continues to grow and it’s hard to differentiate. The Extruder has gone with doing something different inside the mod, adding separate and reversed areas for the battery and squonk bottle, this keeps things safer, cleaner and separate. A nice side effect is the dual sided doors, giving you access to both sides of the internals of the mod. The Da Vinci BF 510 is a nice addition too, should make for some solid connections. Lockable fire button, brass connections, included bottle, all the rest is pretty standard in the segment. The last highlight is the multiple colourways/combinations being offered, another differentiator that allows for some nice customization. We hope this Canadian mod does well, the buzz so far is looking good.

I have been wanting to get a hold of a good mech squonker, but I keep seeing these outrageous prices and secret lottery style interfaces to their proposed markets, and it is reallly beginning to turn me off to vaping. That material is not made from a huge chunk of bill it aluminum with a massive amount of material waste going into its production. Brass connectors, flimsy internal, locking buttons as an innovation in this era is really a joke. when I was in Japan, you could but a thurmus with a locking mechanism that looked like it was design by a transformer. These secret groups on Facebook, I think they are all trying to turn their products into unicorns by manipulating interested buyers.
I just want a good vape, and if this vaping subculture wants broad acceptance, why keep the supposedly best products out of reach from potential buyers? I’m not going to stalk secret Facebook groups waiting for a chance to maybe get a ticket into a pretend exclusive little buyers club to buy a primitive product. I wonder if all the buzz and lack of availability really has more to do with the fact some of these products are simply mediocre, and of lower quality than dollar store flash light.
Please, someone do something to stop my growing disenchantment with vaping. It’s the only thing has kept me from smoking. I’m starting to feel like this industry is just as interested in ripping me off with premium juice pricing, and bs pricing on si ole circuit board and poorly designed user interfaces …. almost as much Phillip Morris willing to make money selling cancer.
