Arguably the RDTA that really started it all, The Steam Crave Aromamizer has been updated with a couple keep features that really improve on an already great tank.
Well this has been refreshing, going back to a tank after all the tanks that have come after it. And you know what? It still stands up. Many of the improvements should have been done to start with, but we have to commend Steam Crave for hearing us all and releasing this new version. Not sure it really should be denoted as a v2 more like a v1.5 but either way it’s a tank you need to own or own again.
The biggest differences over the last version are mostly aesthetic but if really does make a difference. This atty now looks right at home on your most loved device. The addition of a metal AFC ring really improves the experience, not only does it look better (less cheap), it also doesn’t seem to suffer from the condensation issues that the rubber band AFC did. The flat top cap now allows you to add your own drip tips that sit flush, this is a big deal aesthetically, adding a high end stab wood tip really enhances the overall look.
As for performance, it is pretty much the same as the original, but we swear it wicks better (even though nothing has changed internally). Little details like the thickness of the glass section really add to the overall feel and quality. We are sure a lot of us have forgotten just how great this tank was.
We aren’t going to do a full review seeing not a lot has changed, but we will have a link below to our original review below. We went for the 3ml version this time to showcase, thinking it’s pretty relevant lately with all the 2-3ml RTA/RDTAs lately. The Aromamizer still stands up and still deserves a place in your collection. Even the bottom fill is still a joy to use and we don’t miss it having top fill one bit (most of the top fill systems are buggy anyway).
They can be had for a steal (Origin Vape has them at 50% Off) and Steam Crave has also just released an anniversary edition (Gold or Gun Metal) if your interested.
