From the maker of the Freakshow and Freakshow Mini comes another cube shaped atty (popular shape lately), but this one packs a lot of flavour and some great value! Looks pretty dope too!
Wotofo is similar to Youde in that they are both Asian companies making some of their own designs that offer great value and some innovative thinking in Authentics that don’t break the bank. For some reason square is the new round, there are a lot of attys on the market taking this form factor. It looks great on a square box mod, but that’s about it.
And that is really the only major con for this Atty. It doesn’t always fully tighten down and allow perfect alignment with the sides of your box mod (you need to back it off just a bit to get it to sit nicely). It’s not a that big a deal, everything is secure, it’s just one of those things that ticks you off a bit. So if this is going to bug you, try it on your box before you buy it.
The flavour on this atty is awesome! Dense, warm, and great mouth feel from the included drip tips make this a pleasure to vape. Flavours from you juice explode on this one, but for a reason that may not be for everyone. This atty needs low Ohm builds to shine, anything over 0.4 Ohms and the flavour mutes dramatically. So if this is going to be an issue, again you may want to think twice about the Atty Cubed. To get these low builds and satisfy the mammoth post holes you will need to build with 24 gage or thicker wire, really 22 gage is the baseline.
Airflow is very versatile, you can go Cloudchaser open or Mouth-Lung closed. Building is rather easy with the right wire, and centering you builds are a piece of cake. Get your coils aligned with the post holes and as far out to the edge as you can for the best flavour (our build is a 22 ga, 3mm, 7 wraps, 0.35 Ohms, dual). All this thick gage wire and low ohms does mean you can get a bit of spitback, so watch your wattage. This atty does very well with your watts turned down on a low build, still plenty of vapor and tons of flavour, but with a little less heat. This could very well be the perfect atty for you to try sub-Ohms builds for the first time if you haven’t gone there yet.
Aesthetically the design is super clean, great build quality and every thing works perfectly. Great little package design too. Oh and holy shit does this thing hold the juice, well over 20 drops. But it goes through it pretty quick! All in all this is a great atty. It’s a weird one, the specs and performance should make it a Cloudchaser for sure, but the flavour is so good that it can’t be ignored by us Flavourchasers either. If you like warm, thick, yummy vapes then you need to go out and grab one!
