The Nipple RDA is another highly sought after, very hard to get high end atty that has a lot of hype. It’s tiny as hell and has a super clean design aesthetic that makes it right at home on any mod. Here is another great opportunity to finally get your hands on a hype atty that you may not be able to find even if you want to. So the second we saw a decent clone we thought we should check it out for ourselves.
The Nipple has to be the most compact RDA around. Sure it has a resemblance to a nipple, but they are clean lines. It’s a simple design, and gets even more condensed on the inside and this of course sets it up to deliver great flavour. It’s really very similar to a Vaponaute Le Magister without the tank section. The size of the chamber and airflow are almost identical in ratio and size. With a tad more airflow going to the Nipple.
Flavour is very good, and should be expected when dealing with a super condensed vapor chamber. It’s an intense vape with the ability to capture all the subtle flavour notes in your juices. We tried a variety of builds and have come to the conclusion that vertical builds are really the only option for optimal flavour.
Airflow is dialled in to a perfect restricted lung hit. We did notice that airflow was increased slightly with horizontal builds, but at the cost of flavour. There are a couple sets of grub screws with a smaller apertures (holes) included that you can screw into the airflow holes to tighten down airflow. MTLing is possible on this atty, but for us wide open without these extra screws works for us. Also included is a sold screw for blocking one of the airflows to allow for single coil builds. There is also a bottom feed 510 screw for squonking (we are sure this atty will shine as a squonker).
Building is not super hard, but definitely for experienced builders. Our fav is a 25awg, 2.5mm, 5 Wrap, Spaced, Dual Vertical Coil coming in at 0.3 Ohms and run around 50W. It’s a super flavourful, perfectly warm vape. We have notice wicking performs best (equally) when vaping the atty with the airflow holes out to the sides, this allows the juice to travel to both coils (if you vape the airflow up and down one coil will go dry sooner). Also this is a low build, so heat is going to be an issue, we found the tiny little drip tip is basically unusable as it heat up to uncomfortable temps. The good news is Derringer Tips fit perfectly, here is one of our faves (comes in a variety of colours) and here are a bunch more (all super affordable). Grab a tip, it’s a must.
Juice capacity is shocking for how small the nipple is. We honestly thought it would hold next to nothing, but were surprised to learn it can hold a good 20 drops with a vertical build installed (it’s much less with a horizontal build). It’s an efficient atty, so it runs through the juice but it’s super easy to drip, so who cares.
The Nipple is another hype atty that deserves every ounce of it. Throwing it on a mini mod makes for a super stealthy vape. And Flavour… so good. This is another one you need to try. It seems we aren’t along in our opinion, as of publishing this review even the clones are sold out. We are sure they will be restocked shortly so sign up for a notification and grab one as soon as you can. It also looks like Vaper-Z will have authentics in stock the week June 27th for £100.
