Looks like Tesla is stepping up their game this year too. All the manufacturers are taking the start of 2016 pretty seriously, we can’t stop being stoked, it’s going to be a great year for vaping!

We haven’t had a lot of experience with Tesla Mods but we couldn’t help sharing this one, it’s just so damn dope looking. It has some great lines and a great placement for it’s oversized fire button. The Tesla Nano has all the features we have all come to expect, it really will come down to how nice that fire button feels and how well the chipset functions. The good news is it’s a cheap investment and would make a great second or backup mod in almost anyones collection. It has a comparable size and in the hand weight as an IPV D2/3 but with the added bonus of a 3600mAh internal Lipo which should mean more battery life and also make this a great first time Box Mod for nubbies (no batteries or chargers to buy). To top it off it has 2Amp charging with should do the job rather quick (definitely under 2 hours for a full charge). The new Tesla Nano 60W TC might just be the IPV D2/3 killer! We really dig the look, and love the little curved lip by the 510, looks like this one will feel great in the hand.

We are going to keep our eye on Tesla they seem to have some potentially great products happening, if you haven’t checked out their New Invader 3 Mod you should, looks like a great more affordable option to a HEXOhm (bit more capable spec too).

Well it looks like YiHi finally has an answer to the DNA200, or so they hope. Welcome the Q Class, a dual 18650 Mod powered by their new chip the SX450. It has a lot of the same features we have come to love with the SXJ but now adds software to mimic the control Evolve has give us with Escribe. The question will be if it will deliver and lets be honest, Escribe does a good job but could have a much better user experience (MAC support?). The fact that YiHi has decide to stick to 18650s rather than making the switch to LiPo has created a cause for concern. 200W is just not sustainable or safe with only 8.4V, they will most likely follow the same path as the Asmodus Snow Wolf and throttle or use Pulse Width Modulation above 150W which is pretty useless and really just a marketing ploy to claim 200W. Time will tell and we will keep a close look out for more info as it arises. The swappable doors is a nice touch and a good solve for all of us that dealt with the finish issues of the original SX Mini & SX Mini M Class. The minimum resistance of 0.0001 Ohms seems insane and leads us to believe that there may be some game changing tech going on here. It will be exciting to see how this story develops and watch the battle between the DNA200 and the SX450 unfold. It’s a great start to 2016!

There are tons of beautiful high end mods on the market but many of them are rather unattainable or ridiculously priced. Enter Axis Vapes, they are a new company that are trying to change the model a little by offering the same great craftsmanship at more affordable prices (still expensive but not crazy) and without needing to be invited to some secret Facebook group for a chance to own one (by raffle and in some cases without colour/material selection). Axis releases mods to their site as frequently as they can and you will be able to view several pics of each mod before you select yours.
