MMVapors or Dimitrios Damianidis has always been known for making beautiful mods. His signature has always been beautiful almost hand sculpted stab wood creations that look more like pieces of art than usable mods. The lastest creation the Palm-BF has been extremely popular for the last several months, with many a vaper cramming the MMVapors Facebook Group for a chance to score one of these beautiful mods. Let’s get into why we think that might be and why you should try to grab one too.

Where to begin… This is a result of a modder having the experience of several successful mods and constantly trying to out do the last design. Dimitrios is obviously a C&C master-craftsman to get such an organic shape while others can’t even come close. And that’s the theme with the Palm-BF, the level of detail and fit & finish are an almost completely different level from other mods out there. There isn’t a sharp edge anywhere on the mod, every ounce of it is curved, smooth & rounded. Dimples and Cutouts have been placed in the exact spot to make the mod melt into your hand like a third appendage. There is both a left and right hand version, we opted for the right version and yet it is also comfortable in the left, the design is rather universal. The front dimple above the squonk bottle is something you will fall in love with, it feels so natural and the side fire with the side of your thumb is mind-blowing. The BFX black silicone bottles have been customized with a snap-in top making for a very pleasant bottle in and out experience. We have been refilling with a top bottle and had great success with not an ounce of leaking or condensation. We just can’t get over how every surface and angle have been thought through to a finite level of detail. The almost pie or wedge like shape makes for an extremely natural hand feel. Even the tolerance around the mini-usb port is one of the best we have ever seen on a DNA board. High-end mods are great, usually expensive, and made from fine materials but in our experience there is always a couple little details about the fit & finish that drive you up the wall after all the trouble and cost associated to getting one. This just simply isn’t the case with the Palm-BF, Miriam and Team make the process fast and painless once you have won a spot on a list (the only con really is having to win a spot to purchase a Palm), and like we have been leading up to, the Palm-BF is a flawless mod.

Add in the latest rev of the Evolve DNA75 Chipset and you have nothing to worry about as far as functions and abilities of the mod. Every thing as been set up correctly and the custom start screen is very complimentary of the overall design aesthetic. Battery life is decent, we still marvel at the efficiency of the DNA40 boards, but it’s not horrible, especially in you stay in around 40W for most of your use. The body design and materials seem to transfer/dissipate heat well and we haven’t felt an ounce of heat in our use of the mod.

510 is perfect! Got to love it when a modder uses a ModMaker 510 and on a regulated mod to boot. The 24mm out washer has been used to accommodate 24mm attys if that’s your thing. These are rock solid 510s that won’t let you down. The little shelf around the 510 almost embeds your atty into the mod and we love the look. Use a 22mm atty with a beauty ring and you can really give a custom flair to your Palm-BF.

Squonking action it very natural. The shape of the squonk hole is not only unique but also very functional. Easy access from either side with your fingers in a position you could hold for days on a bottle with the prefect resistance makes for highly controlled action. Over squonking is only for the heavy handed in our opinion, it would be hard to do even still.

By now it has to be clear… We love the Palm-BF. It’s a sheer masterpiece. Every inch of it is perfect and thought through, every material is of the highest grade or quality. Sure it’s expensive and can get even more expensive if you opt for more premium materials like Stab Wood or Juma, but in this case you really get what you pay for. This could easily be the one and only mod we ever owned and be in heaven the whole time. It’s a tad heavy but adds to the feel of quality, it’s not the smallest mod, but it sure is pretty and it sure feels amazing in the palm of your hand. Great Modder, Great Team, Great Name, and Great Product. This is a mod any serious vaper must experience for themselves. Ours is going no where, we are keeping it forever.
