The Eden Mods SnapDragon v1 RDA (Clone)

Considered by many to be one of the best Flavourchasing RDAs of 2015, the SnapDragon by Eden Mods out of the UK is very popular and rather pricey too. Not that we like to promote clones but occasionally when it’s hard to acquire the authentic or it’s just too pricey for your vape budget they are a great way for you to still experience great design thinking. Also not to mention that clones have been stepping up their game and offering 316 Stainless Steel 1:1 copies. So is the SnapDragon as good as it’s cracked up to be? HELL YES!

The HYON USA Pugio RDA (Clone)

Here is another clone that we had to try. There has been some hype about the HYON USA Pugio RDA but at $150 USD not many can justify the cost. It’s a ridiculously expensive RDA, but it does have some interesting design thinking that has kept us curious until now. Finally a clone for $9 USD! This is a great example of when trying a clone before buying the authentic just makes sense. So does it deliver? Let’s find out…

Buzz: Syntheticloud Aeolus Lite RDA

Now here is a great idea! Make a more affordable version of a high end atty by producing it with more cost effective materials. This is exactly what Syntheticloud has done with their new Aeolus Lite RDA. It’s an Aeolus v2 Pro made of Aluminum and offered in 12 awesome colorways. It has one major difference, the build deck is secured with o-rings (and tabs on the center ring to stop spin) instead of their reverse threaded design (which some may argue is a good thing, the reverse threads can be a bit tricky to secure). The Lite also comes with a matching drip tip which the v2 pro didn’t.

Great idea and we hope to see more companies looking into ways to make their designs more attainable to wider audiences. Way to go Syntheticloud!

Buzz: Flawless Tugboat v3 RDA

One of the all time classic RDAs has be reborn! The Flawless Tugboat is dear to our hearts as it was our first RDA and now there is a completely reimagined version, The Tugboat v3! Big differences include a new 2 post design and top & side AFCs. It also looks to have a nice deep juice well and the sides of the deck have a lip design that should really help focus airflow to your coils. The AFC options should make this a rather versatile atty. We can’t wait to get our hands on one for a full review!

Cephalon Vapes Siphonophorae RDA

The name may be hard to pronounce (SI’PHO’NOPH’OR’) and has a great meaning (“Life-form characterized by an amalgamation of individual marine animals forming a colony.”), but this is one unique and well thought out RDA. Not to mention it is damn sexy to look at. We are always on the lookout for new and interesting Atty designs and this one definitely caught our interest!
