The vape world sure is changing. Sure it has always been a fast paced innovative market, but the move to pods systems seems like it might be here to stay. It might just be the answer to getting the masses over to our side (vaping). We have noticed more and more new vapers hitting the local BMs all lined up to grab a pod system of the day. The Juul is still in the market but there are many competitors that have them beat in our opinion and we will be covering them soon. But in the meantime, with the Juul market share so strong, there are companies popping up making Juul compatible pods with larger juice capacities, more flavour options, and at a better price point. Let’s take a look at what EonSmoke has to offer.

We have also created a new scoring method for pods and pod systems as they seem to be something we will be covering a hell of a lot.

Flavour is noticeably more intense than Juul pods which is impressive add the extra 10mg of Nicotine in these pods. There are 9 flavour profiles to choose from including; Silky Strawberry, Blueberry, Mango, Cool Mint, Pineapple Crush, Watermelon, Grape, Tobacco, Citrus Burst. For us Pineapple Crush was a clear winner followed closely by Grape and Watermelon. Mango is always a good profile in these high nic salt pod systems too. There is little to no break-in period, we do have to report we had some wicking issues at times that lead to minor dry/burnt hits. However this can be an issue with Juul pods too.

The Draw is slightly more open than the Juul pods, not a vast difference but an improvement for those that want just a little bit more than a Juul Pod. Like all Juul the draw can be inconsistent at times, with you needing to play with the pods connection to get it firing up right.

Lifespan is slightly better than a Juul pod thanks to the 0.3ml more e-liquid you get in each pod. But like all Juul pods, if you are a heavy vaper expect to go through two a day. Which still makes the Juul experience a pretty expensive habit. Personally we use them for airport travel and stealth restaurant vaping.

The EonSmoke pods click securely into place every time and work without trouble. They have a rounded piece that has a more pleasant mouth feel than Juul pods. There is a large clear area to monitor your juice level, but comes at an aesthetic cost, these pods just don’t look as nice on the Juul as the original pods.

Fit & Finish is good, not great, but good, there is some minor leaking or seepage for the contacts/air inlets and the plastic of the mouth piece feels a tad cheap. But then again these are cheaper than Juul Pods.

If you are looking for a new flavour out of the Juul usual line-up than EonSmoke Juul compatible pods might be right up your alley. You can save a couple of bucks while you are at it too. The Juul still holds a spot in our line up for now, but to be honest there is some much better out there now. Maybe it’s time for Juul to come out with a v2, especially if they want to keep their market share. We will drop a hint… KWIT.
